TombQuest Book 2: Amulet Keepers by Michael Northrop

Genre: Action
Three kids arrive in Cairo with Todtman (a police detective) by the name Alex, Luke, and Ren. Soon after their arrival they realize that they have been betrayed. Alex, Luke, and Ren have to stop a powerful group of people called the Order. The Order is on their trail and Alex needs to find his lost mother who has the Lost Spells, which could defeat an evil undead race called Death Walkers. They meet some unexpected guests along the way and find out there’s more to what their special amulets can do. The Crew head out to the Valley of Kings to find the Lost Spells but things get a little too hot in the desert of Egypt.
Burnt bodies of guards and strange sunburns are found near some ancient tombs. Alex now knows that this is the works of a Death Walker that has the power of fire. The three kids need the Book of the Dead to stop anymore Death Walkers from entering their world. Who can they trust now that they know there’s a mole among them.

I enjoyed reading the part where Alex, Ren, and Luke use there Amulets to fight against the Order.
I didn’t really like how I couldn’t find the first book of TombQuest so I found it kind of difficult reading the first couple of chapters.

Rate: If I were to rate this book, I would rate it 4 out of four because it is a good book but it isn’t a great book.
