This book is about a kid could Greg and his family goes on a road trip. They went to 3 hotels and a place called soak central. Once his family are ready to they cant find there key and a family called the Beardos had taken their seat and they think that the Beardos have the key. When they leave to go home their car breaks down and they wait to get a ride. Two Spanish people pull over and Greg's parents can't speak Spanish so they try to act out that their car broke down. Greg's brother Manny spoke Spanish to the guy and they had a long conversation. Manny said to take them to the petting zoo s he can see his pig. After they got the pig they went home.
