This is my 8th Book review and I chose this one because it sounds interesting. The Characters In this book are Beck Granger the main character that is a boy, Brihony, a girl that is technically scared of everything and Jim Rockslide a guy that was famous but he didn’t die but everyone thought he did. This is the 5th book of the series. This book is about this guy Beck who goes on adventures and ends up getting into a lot of bad things. He has been through some tough times and he still tries again. But he is trying to find out who killed his parents because his parents died when he was a little kid. But there are people that are trying to stop him from finding who killed their parents. Then there is Brihony, her friend who is helping him solve this problem but she is scared of everything. Also, his dad told him stories about this famous survivor called Jim Rockslide. But his dad said he died but then suddenly one day there was a message from Jim Rockslide that said go to Broome, a city and go to this Australian outback and he will meet him there and Jim will help them find who killed their parents because Beck was so angry about whoever killed their parents. But first he had to face heaps of dangers and fast floods were the most dangerous.He goes there and BOOM there is Jim and he knocks Beck and Brihony both out. But he got up and they started fighting and Jim said if you flip me out then I will tell you who it was. Come on then says Beck and they fight while some Crocs come and they are Jim's pets and then Brihony gets her weapon out and starts fighting them but she was shivering because she was scared. While Beck fights Jim. Who will win. Find out by reading the whole book.
I liked this book because it has heaps of things like obstacles they had to do so they can meet Jim but turns out he was bad all along.
I disliked nothing about this book.
I rate this book a 5/5 because it has more mystery to it like why did Jim Rockslide smash Beck when Jim was a good guy.
