This book is about a boy named Ray Gordon he's 12 years old and has a 9-year-old brother Brandon. They take a trip to Horror Land.while they are there they bump into a horror. As they were talking to the horror they asked: "what is the scariest ride?" Brandon is a huge wuss he demanded to not go on any scary rides. The horror takes them to the test area and they try the shockers. When they were finished on the shockers they found that the horror was gone soon to meet the mirrored man ( winn-doe ) and they try his hall of mirrors, soon to find it was a horrible experience when they're out they sprint off trying to run as far as possible away from winn-doe.
Ray and Brandon end up in a store called Chiller house. At Chiller House they find weird objects including a so-called Slappy the wooden dummy. They purchased the dummy, Ray continued to scare Brandon with the slappy doll. Everything starting to become worse and worse after Ray finds a mysterious note in the back of Slappy's pocket, he reads word by word on the note to find the awakening of Slappy.
What is the bad cause of Slappy being "alive"?

I would rate this book 4/5.
I liked how it was interesting to read and it had a variety of things that Slappy does. The reason I rated it 4/5 is because I thought that the story of the book started off slow and then towards the end, it left me wanting to read more.
