It’s a homicide or a suicide, each time. Laura is the best detective in the NYPD station, (2nd precinct). My favourite part is when Santiani passes away. Not in the way you are probably all thinking about right now, in the way Laura and the other NYPD detectives figure out who killed her. It begins with the security videos. Meredith the technology genius rewinds over and over again, when Captain Santiani is shot. It comes down to Santiani's ex husband. Santiani's ex husband was the violent type of guy but he was the main victim. The ex husband got into a very bad situation, these 2 men he fell in with at his work wanted a lot of money. He didn't have that type of money, but the men thought that normal cops get a couple of thousands, captains must get double that. Finally Laura and the NYPD detectives put the men into custody.
