Book Review #6
This is the second book in Salla Simukka's chilling murder series. This book has some of the same characters as the first book in this series called as red and blood but there a couple new characters as well. In this book, Lumikki Andersson has safely landed in an abroad country after being left near dead in the cold snow. She was still recovering from the incident that left her quite disturbed but is doing ok now. Once the plane has landed and she gets off the plane, she feels like she is being watched but doesn't really care about it. A few minutes later a girl randomly shows in front of her and to Lumikki, she looked quite familiar. The girl approaches her calmly and tells her something she had never thought she would hear in her life. The girl nervously said that she was her long-lost sister and Lumikki froze in surprise. Lumikki soon found out that the girls name was Lenka. After a few minutes of awkward silence, they decide to sit down together at a nearby cafe and just talked about their past. Lumikki is quite uncomfortable and in shock about what happened.
What will Lumikki do?
Will she accept her so-called long-lost sister?
Do find out if they are real sisters or not?
I rate this book a 10/10.
What I liked was how the story was written. It is written so that you are kept in suspense and you are hanging on the edge of your seat to find out what happens next but not so much that you are never told what happened next
There was nothing I disliked
How would you feel if you were Lumikki? Is this a genre you would like to read more of??
ReplyDeleteIf I were Lumikki I would feel like I was in a dream. I would also feel really lucky to be alive. And yes, This is the genre I would like to read more of :)
