Twilight.

Twilight is a romantic but supernatural book about  Bella swan who's a 17-year-old teenager that left her mums home in Phoenix  to go live with her father Charlie in Forks. She sees a boy at her new school that she likes who's name is Edward Cullen but the Cullens are more than humans they are vampires. The moment that Bella knew something was up with Edward is when a ute skidded out of control and almost hit Bella until Edward used his body as a shield to protect her. Soon after this Bella has many questions to ask Edward and cannot stop thinking about him. A few weekends after Bella takes a trip to Port Angeles with friends and gets lost down an alley and starts getting harassed by some men and then Edward appears again to protect her. After he rescues her this is when Bella finds out Edward is a vampire. From then on they both like each other and she goes to his house to meet the rest of the family and to play some baseball. It is not until James who comes across the field who is also a vampire notices that Bella is not a vampire and he is thirsty for her blood. the rest of the book is Edward trying to protect Bella by running away from James who is trying to kill her. James finds Bella eventually and bites her but Edward comes to the rescue again. She ends up in hospital and had to lie to her parents how it happened and then once she gets out she goes to prom with Edward.
