This book is about the Benson family moving into a new neighborhood called spooky falls. Everything is shaded there it's so dark and mysterious. The main characters of this story are Amanda, Josh and their parents. When they arrived to look at the house Josh being stubborn as usual didn’t want to come and look around the house, he just stayed outside with their dog called Petey. Amanda and her parents look around the house and check out the rooms. Before they left the house Amanda wanted to look around her room again, She pictured where everything could go. As she was leaving she was leaving she saw a boy and thought it was her brother but it wasn’t. A couple weeks later they are all packed and ready to move it. As Amanda was walking into the house, she saw the boy again it sent shivers down her back. More and more spooky incidents happen but their parents don’t believe a word they're saying, you’ll get used to it they keep saying. So Amanda and josh get use to it as their parents wanted them to. They make new friends at their new School, but their friends aren’t exactly what you think they would be...What will happen next?
