Lacy is a city girl, and she has all her friends there and she loves it. Then one day her mum tells her that they are getting a baby donkey and she kept begging her mum why they were getting the donkey and she found out that it was because they were moving out to a little ramshackle house in the country. Lacy hates being out in the country because she misses her friends, and she get's into a habit of helping her mum in the holidays so she doesn't have to think about school because the closest age group to her is year 5 and she is year 8. Lacy and her family met their neighbor and he invited them for dinner and he said nasty stuff to her like she is to modern and won’t last a day without crying. On lacys first day of school no one talked to her and she felt like crying but later n the year she started playing rugby with the boys and now she is really good at rugby. Then lacy starts to like the country even more.
