Main characters: Rob and Millie who are very well behaved kids. With a dog called Nell.
Synopsis: In Scotland during the first World War. Rob, his sister Millie and their parents live in a small farm. Their father heads of to war and is reported missing after the battle of the Somme. Their mum couldn't handle the news and didn't carry on normally. The two kids, Rob and Millie didn't except that their father was dead. So they try to find their dad with the help of their dog Nell. As they searched for their father, they see a eerie figure through a window. Is it a ghost?
I liked the whole book, especially when they said that war is not a game where you come back in glory. It's horror where lives can be lost, changing your whole world.
