The Hobbit
The Hobbit - J.R.R. Tolkien
Fantasy, Adventure.
In a hole, in a hill, lived the Hobbit, Bilbo Baggins; Hobbits preferred staying in the comforts of their home, but one day Bilbo went on an adventure of a lifetime.
It started when the mischievous wizard Gandalf tricked poor Bilbo into hosting a group of Dwarfs in his hole. Not three, not four, BUT TWELVE!! Dwalin, Balin, Kili, Fili, Dori, Nori, Ori, Oin, Gloin, Bifur, Bofur and Bombur. After a long time of laughing and singing (from the dwarfs and Gandalf) They hear a knock on the door. Thorin Oakenshield, head of the dwarves and heir to the throne of the destroyed Dwarvish Kingdom, Erebor (now there's Thirteen dwarves).
After the long night, Bilbo had found out that he is the “Burglar” and he must steal the Arkenstone from the large red dragon, Smaug; destroyer of Erebor.
Bilbo, (who was really Indignant) decides to join the dwarves on their Dangerous quest, which will take a year to get there and back again. During their risky Journey, they meet many dangerous foes, including large Spider, ugly trolls, Chilling Goblins, horrifying Orcs, unkind Elves, gigantic Eagles, and Bilbo even steals a magic ring from a strange creature named Gollum.
5/5 It’s my 2nd time reading The Hobbit (3rd time including the time my dad read), and I still enjoyed it. I enjoyed the adventure and characters that you meet throw out the book (My faverate characters are Bard the bowman, his son Bain and Kili). I recommend it to anyone that likes adventure, and fantasy worlds like me.
